How to Apply Face Self Tanner
The many grooves and tiny hairs on your face make it difficult to get an even faux tan. Gear up summer with these ace tricks for applying face self tanner like a pro. Steaks, blotches and carrot orange color be gone for good!

For flawless application to your face, exfoliate the skin and moisturize all over. Once you’ve given the moisturizer time to absorb, put Vaseline on areas of the face that are prone to color cling: the hairline, eyebrows, side burns and upper lip (tiny hairs can catch the color and result in a splotchy appearance).

Put on rubber gloves then squirt a nickel-size dollop of self-tanning lotion onto the palm of your hand and rub your palms together. Apply evenly all-over and press into the skin firmly until fully absorbed, paying careful attention to the area under and over the eyes, and the crevices of the nostrils and upper lips. Once your face self-tanner has fully absorbed , you can apply makeup as usual but avoid sweating to prevent streaks.

This article has great tips! The only thing I'd recommend is applying it in a #3 motion around the forehead, temple, cheekbones and jawline. Also a little on the nose. This comment has been removed.
