3 Simple Ways to Keep Your Skin Soft

Rough winter skin is no fun but it’s inevitable due to the drier climates and harsh temperatures. But your skin doesn’t have to suffer if you take care of it and understand that just because you’re more covered up, it doesn’t mean your skin is protected.

Scrub. Exfoliate your skin with a luxurious scrub. Try a grapefruit sugar scrub or ones with fresh, spa smells to really feel like you’re indulging your skin. Sloughing off old skin cells can leave your skin looking and feeling rejuvenated.

Shave. Seems simple enough, right? Sometimes we slack off from shaving during the winter because we don’t bare our legs. However, by keeping on a regular shaving routine, this helps keeps legs smooth and silky. Use a moisturizing cream (I love a raspberry smell) or use a razor with the moisturizer built in (like the Oil of Olay Gillette Venus razor).

Smooth. Use a thick body butter to treat your skin to an extra “coat” of soothing goodness. Use one with ingredients like cocoa butter to really make your skin feel soft and supple. Make sure you pay attention to the rougher areas like the soles of your feet, your knees and elbows. These areas need some extra TLC to get the skin soft.

These are just three ways you can keep your skin soft this winter. They are simple, but the daily care we give our skin will literally show up on the surface every day.

If you want incredibly smooth legs with superior exfoliation, NOTHING beats having them sugared. Sugar really grabs onto the dead skin cells, even more than waxing does. This comment has been removed.
