Dark circles, fine lines, puffiness, sagging. You name it. We’ve probably tried it to perk up those tired eyes of ours. It’s just so hard to pick an eye cream these days because you’re best bet is by trial and error, which can become quite costly. So I did some research on Sephora and QVC, and I also asked some of my friends to participate in an eye cream test with me. Here are our results as well as the top 3 anti-aging eye creams.

What It Boasts: Reduces all signs of aging around the eyes including wrinkles, loss of elasticity, dehydration, dark circles, dark spots, puffiness, loss of radiance and so on. Also, this product is formulated without parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs and triclosan.

- Grapevine Resveratrol: Firms and lifts skin.
-Viniferine: Reduces dark spots.
-Grape Seed Polyphenols: Protects the skin and delivers antioxidant properties.
-Tetrapeptides: Fights puffiness, dark circles, and wrinkles.

Product Review: The product absorbs quickly, and it made a dramatic difference with my dark circles. After using the product for about 2 weeks, the skin under my eye feels tighter. I’m looking forward to the results after continued usage of several weeks. Also, I loved how my makeup looked over it.
Ideal For: Combo/Oily Skin, if you wear makeup, if you have dark circles/puffiness/aging

What It Boasts: Hydrates, lifts, tightens and reduces puffiness and aging signs such as wrinkles and sagging. It is also formulated without synthetic fragrances

- Turmeric Complex with glycerin and caffeine
- Cellular Fortifying Complex: boosts skin health.
- Vitamins a B3 B5 and E: Nourish the skin.

Product Review: This one also quickly absorbs, but you have to use a TINY dab. It’s great at depuffing and smoothing. I noticed a big difference in firming, but nothing major when it came to my dark circles (although they did brighten up a bit). Also, there were a lot of positive reviews from Sephora customers aged 35 and above, which is always a plus.

Ideal For: Dry skin, individual looking for a rich, firming cream, if you notice sagging, if you get puffy eyes.

What It Boasts: Boosts production of skin’s key structural proteins - elastin, collagen and proteoglycans. This product will redefine the eye to return its youthful appearance. Also, it is formulated without parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs and triclosan.

-Alguronic Acid and ProPeptide3: Boosts production of skin's key structural proteins to firm and tone the skin.
-Caffeine: Promotes circulation to visibly reduce puffiness and strengthen skin around the eyes.
-Chamomile: Soothes and calms the skin.
-Alfalfa Seed Extract and Lupine Protein: Reduce puffiness and signs of fatigue around the eyes.

Product Review: In the beginning, I felt a slight tingly sensation, and eventually, it went away. I was nervous that I might be allergic, but I powered through and kept using it. Fortunately, I am not allergic, and I don’t feel anything when I put it on as I’ve using it for 2 weeks now. As for my personal results, I am definitely less puffy, and overall, my eyes look more awake. I don’t have a ton of fine lines under my eyes, but they are looking better after using this product. Also, this product as well had a lot of positive reviews from Sephora and QVC clients aged 35-60+.

Ideal For: Any skin type, anyone looking for firming/lifting/depuffing/moisturizing

@vana713 At this point, you probably don't need anything too pricey. Just something hydrating :) This comment has been removed.
@courtney2bambi I know it's so hard to pay so much, but the trick is try out the products first. If you notice a difference in a week or so, then it's definitely worth it. This comment has been removed.
Ohhh yeh! Thanks for the review! I just finished my eye cream from my Derm, (which I love but always looking to try others). It's Luminiere but I'll try the DDF next! Gonna print this...thanks so much! This comment has been removed.
I love this article! As I get older eye cream is definitely something I want to start experimenting with, but you're right, it does get pricey. You should do another article with some of the lower-end products! Love the idea of doing a test with friends! This comment has been removed.
It's good to know, but I hope it lasts a long time because they seem pricey! The break down of ingredients help though. Thanks! This comment has been removed.
