In the vast world of beauty, there are endless amounts of products to indulge in. From skincare, to fragrance, and even color cosmetics, it’s hard to know where to splurge and where to save. In this post, I break it down by category, advising you on which beauty items are worth the hefty price tag.

Hair Products

When it comes to taking care of your tresses, the most splurge-worthy item you can find would have to be a leave-in conditioning treatment. While shampoos, conditioners, and styling products are all great, they aren’t necessarily worth spending a fortune on. The leave-in conditioner, however, is the one item that will replenish, repair, and rejuvenate your hair. Ideally, you are looking for a product with the finest, most potent ingredients. Fragrance

When it comes to fragrance, I will once again hold fast to the belief that you truly do get what you pay for. I have smelled many a scent in my time, and find that the pricier scents tend to be more unique, more exquisitely crafted, and generally tend to have more lasting power than their drugstore counterparts. My pick for fragrance is Chance by Chanel. It is a scent that is youthful, lovely, and smells wonderful on virtually anyone.

Color Cosmetics

The realm of color cosmetics is one in which I actually don’t feel you need to spend a fortune to look great. My top two brands happen to be in the mid-price range, and I have always achieved exceptional results with both. For pigment, quality, and products that perform for the long-haul, Make Up For Ever and Hourglass Cosmetics are the brands that I can never ever (and I mean never ever) be without. No matter what look I am trying to achieve, and how I want to achieve it, I can find everything I want or need in those two brands.

When it comes to beauty, you have to know where to save and where to splurge. Take my advice and use your money where it counts.
