My Beauty Fix

My Beauty Fix

In 30 Minutes or Less

Every now and then, I start to feel rather lackluster in appearance and require a quick beauty fix. Since I typically don't have a lot of time to hit the spa, I've created a 30 minutes or less routine at home for days when I want a beauty pick-me-up. Here's how to refresh your look either alone or with some friends at home!

*Stained Teeth

If you drink a lot of coffee, soda or tea, then whitening your teeth will instantly revive your smile!

Store: Crest Whitening Strips

DIY: Brush your teeth with baking soda or a splash of hydrogen peroxide

*Troublesome Skin

Whatever your skin type is, everyone can benefit from a facial mask! Dead skin can build up, and makeup can clog your pores if you don't remove it properly. Therefore, I like to give myself an exfoliation treatment once a week, and especially when I'm experiencing a lot of breakouts.

Store: Alba Papaya Enzyme Facial Mask or MyChelle Fruit Fiesta Peel

DIY: Create your own strawberry or aspirin mask for amazing exfoliation benefits!

*Fried Hair

If we've exhausted our hair due to heat styling, coloring treatments or summer swimming, then you're definitely overdue for a hair mask! Try to do this at least once a month to replenish the hydration levels in your hair.

Store: Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque (they even sell packets at Ulta, so you don't have to buy the full-size)

DIY: Olive oil

I love Crest White Strips to the point that I overdo it with them sometimes! Always love a good hair mask! This comment has been removed.
