I hardly ever wear white due to my fear of spilling something on it, but this is a great article to keep in mind if I ever do. :) This comment has been removed.

@vana713 Do it before you put it in the wash. It might still work after, but the results are best if it's a fresh stain. It's multi-use, too. ;) I tried this on my white carpet 2 months after some guys spilled bright red jungle juice all over it. It worked like a dream! Just make sure you're not ironing satin or something else that shrinks up or loses its glossiness when it gets hot. This comment has been removed.

What a great tip! How long after a spill will this work? Does it need to be done immediately? This comment has been removed.

I hope I never have to use this, but I bet I will. THX! This comment has been removed.

For Step 5, did you mean "Repeat Steps 2-4"? Otherwise you'd be wasting a lot of water and soap, yeah?

Nice article, I'll have to try this the next time I spill something red on my clothing. Thanks for the share!
