Personal Thoughts on the Cult Face Brush

Let me start off by saying that as big of a hype as many people would make the Clarisonic brush out to be, there’s no such thing as a miracle product. Good skin and beauty in general takes hard work—and no one product is going to instantaneously transform how you look overnight. As amazing of a product the Clarisonic brush is, I just want to put that out there. Don’t buy into the hype, or else you will have false expectations if you decide to purchase the not-so-cheap skincare brush. That being said, let me talk about some of my thoughts on the product!

First off, the creators of the Clarisonic brush is the same as the ones who created the Sonicare toothbrush. The face brush borrows the technology from its toothbrush predecessor, using an oscillating brush whose bristles moves back and forth 300 times per second. It’s effective at reaching down deep inside the pores and pulling out all that dirt and grime stuck beneath the surface.

Personally, what compelled me to research and purchase the product in the first place was the tiny sebum plugs that I had on my forehead. I wanted something that would help get rid of all those little bumps that were sitting on the surface of my skin. After doing some research, I finally decided that the Clarisonic brush was going to do a more effective job than any of the moisturizers that I’ve wasted money on in the past.

I purchased the Clarisonic classic brush and started using it twice a day (once in the morning and once at night). After about 2 weeks, I started noticing my skin clearing up. It’s been about 2 months, and I can say that I’ve noticed a nicer, more glowing complexion…alongside clearer skin.

However, the one big fallback to the brush is its price. The Clarisonic Mia (smallest one and the cheapest) retails for $119, and if you decide to upgrade to Classic, Pro, etc., it’ll set you back $200+. It’s definitely an investment, but for me, it’s worth every penny!

Hmmm, wondering how well these really worked. Thanks for letting us know before any of us spent that kind of money. I look to user reviews a lot to make decisions. This comment has been removed.

Ok so I'm on the fence with this one. I bought the Oil of Olay one, and I'm wondering if it makes a huge difference to have the technology of the Clarisonic. I understand that the Clarisonic pulses, but how much of a difference will it actually make? I am tempted to buy the Clarisonic too bc there are so many good deals out there right now.
