Thoughts and Personal Review of the Handheld Beauty Gadget

I had a chance to read an article by Crimsonskyy on the Baby Quasar Photorejuvenation Light Therapy last week, and thought that I’d do a review on the product! I did a bit of research beforehand on exactly what the product is, and just what kind of effects it’s touted to deliver. So here is a review on my experience using the product so far.

Some spas, skincare specialists, etc. use devices similar to the Baby Quasar. It’s said that the Baby Quasar is one of the most effective handheld gadget that one can purchase personally to use at home. If I recall correctly, the device was described as having been created using NASA technology, with the purpose of healing the skin in space (sounds pretty crazy!).

So how does the gadget work? The device emits four different types of light (of varying wavelengths) that helps repair and rejuvenate the skin. It’s supposed to aid in treating enlarged pores, breakouts and fine lines. Research with this type of light therapy has shown that continued usage offered more toned skin, diminished fine lines, skin less prone to breakouts, and overall clearer skin.

As for my personal experience with the device, I would say that it requires a lot of patience. I like that the Baby Quasar is light and easy to use, but having to keep holding it to your face for 24 minutes straight does demand some investment of time and effort. If you happen to be watching television, however, the time does seem to move by rather quickly.

Although it’s still relatively early for me to say for certain whether or not my skin is visibly changing from having started using the Baby Quasar (it’s been about 2 weeks so far), I can say that my face feels a lot softer after several treatments. I also can’t say for a fact that it’s worth every penny I spent on it just yet, so I guess time will have to tell. I’ll see how this goes, and maybe I’ll do an update further on as I use the Baby Quasar!
