A beauty Disappointment
When it doesn't go how you wanted it to go ...
Have you ever had that great idea for maybe a new beauty product or a technique that could change the world?
Well thats what I had…
Until today ^-^
I’m not going to complain as it was sure to happen but you know it can be annoying - especially as they are trying to
patent it :(
I should probably explain what the heck I’m going on about right?
For ages I have had this dream of owning my own make up line once I had been a make up artist for a few years. The big “ground breaking” product would be this brush set where you would have 1 handle and multiple brushes to swap on the end. This would mean that space would be saved when packing a make up bag so you could carry more products in 1 bag.
I had all the ideas and couldn't wait until... while browsing BareMinerals.co.uk, I found that they already make this product and was I quote “Patent Pending.”
I didn't do this article to moan about an ending dream, because Bare Minerals have done much better than what I would have done(in a good way). They have magnetised the end of the double ended brush handle so the brushes stay on better - something i hadn't considered.
The set is called Brush with Genius(see the picture) and looks slick and professional and being £39.00 is quite reasonable for a brush set as some can be over £50. I would buy this if I had the money. The rating is quite good as well - 5 “hearts.”
So to sum this some-what random article up my question to you guys out there is "what has been your beauty disappointment this week"? Has a super expensive foundation that looked great in the shops not looked right at home and you can’t take it back now you have used it or has a so called “water proof” mascara ran down your face after weeping at Marley and Me (or another sad film). Comment on the right and let off your annoyance here so people don't have to experience it as well.
I'll start off - I bought the perfecting minerals foundation(i think thats it's name) by collection 2000 and have found that you have to apply loads to get decent coverage and it runs out way too quickly.
Thats mine, now your turn :D
