Beauty Products to Pack for the Plane

  • towlettes
  • Chapstick
  • cotton swabs
  • moisturizier
If you’re planning to go out of town for the holidays, there are packing tricks you need to know. A few weeks back, I posted an article about how to pack a carry on for traveling, but now I want to share my list of beauty products to pack so that you can look fresh and not travel weary as soon as you step off the plane.

Yes to Cucumber Facial Towelettes:
You can remove your makeup and built-up oil with these towelettes. But they are also great to help rejuvenate and brighten your skin after long hours of travel. They are easy to stash into your purse or makeup bag for on the go during the day or if you plan to be on a plane, train or in the car for long periods of time. They have a clean, refreshing scent when your face just needs perked up.

Just regular ol' ChapStick is moisturizing, inexpensive and helps heal flaky and dry lips this winter. When I'm traveling I actually put a layer on my lips and then slightly around them because my skin seems to be zapped of moisture every time I'm on a plane. The extra thin layer helps keep my lips moist and flake-free.

Cotton swabs:
You can buy swabs in travel packs or just pack a few for traveling. I use these to clear up smudged mascara that often occurs after enduring a travel nap in the plane's stale air. A quick clean up with a cotton swab makes it easy to apply a fresh swipe of eyeliner and/or mascara. I also use it to apply lip gloss so it doesn't goop on all at once.

Juice Beauty Green Apple SPF 15 Moisturizer:
I was able to try a sample of this from one of my monthly beauty product subscriptions and I felt the difference on my face. It’s a bit pricey, but is on the thicker side to really soak into dry skin. The green apple is a bit misleading because it doesn’t smell like green apple, but has more of a clinical smell. The good news is that smell doesn't linger and your face appears more supple after applying it.

I have those wipes and they're great! I always carry oil blotting papers cuz they're easier to travel with than powder. Mini dry shampoo is a must too! This comment has been removed.
