2012 Top Budget Beauty Products
My top beauty bargain favorites this year
Luxurious packaging and brilliant design of high-end beauty products might make them look like attractive purchases, but their hefty price tag are oftentimes the deal breaker for budget-conscious shoppers. If you’re like me, you’ll find that many budget-range beauty products are not only cheaper, but perform just as well as some of the higher-end ones. Here are some beauty products that will get you more bang for your buck!
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E
Let me begin by saying one thing—while I may love learning about skincare, my one inconsolable vice is my lack of willpower when it comes to regularly applying moisturizer on my dry legs and arms. The reason for this may be part laziness and part disdain for the tacky/greasy feel of lotion on my skin—and for that reason, it’s always been hard to bring myself to apply moisturizer.
That being said, my one absolute favorite product that will actually get me to moisturize is Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E. Since I tend to get dry skin, this cocoa butter is a godsend in providing the richest of hydration with none of greasiness. In terms of performance, this product absorbs into the skin in matter of minutes, smells amazingly delicious and leaves your skin feeling oh-so-amazing to the touch. With summer coming along, the no-greasiness aspect of this moisturizer makes it a perfect moisturizer choice.
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream
Neutrogena carries some of my favorite drugstore products, and amongst these is one I am currently using—the Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream. The key ingredient in this face cream is retinol, which is effective in helping promote cellular turnover and collagen production in the skin. In layman’s terms, retinol-products such as this one are great for keeping the skin looking glowy, youthful, and as wrinkle-free as possible!
Ponds Deep Cleanser Cold Cream
While it may be a good investment to splurge a little on a nice face cream, makeup removers need not be expensive. Ponds Deep Cleanser Cold Cream is a cheap, reliable classic that seems like it’s been around since the beginning of time. It’s effective at removing the last traces of makeup, even the most stubborn of mascara. For its price, it’s definitely a steal!
