With the 2012 Summer Olympics in full swing, it’s hard not to get swept up in the patriotic fervor sweeping the globe. These beauty-loving eyes were happy to spot some festive manicures on the hands of a few female athletes. What better way to show pride in your country than with perfectly painted fingernails?
American tennis player Venus Williams sported a red, white and blue design with a splash of gold totally appropriate for a three-time Olympic gold medal winner. Great Britain’s Rebecca Adlington sported the Union Jack on her nails, and Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki gave a nod to her own country’s flag with her bright-red nails.
