DIY - False Nails
french manicure
It seems to me that DIY false nails are becoming more and more popular. From long to short, classic French manicure to shiny chrome, there’s false nails to suit everyone. They’re cheaper than going to the salon, don’t damage your nails, and you have the freedom to change your nails more often.

As I have short nails (they are weak and break easily!), I thought I’d give them a go. I had tried them in the past but found it difficult to adjust to them – they weren’t very practical for everyday life. And as for typing on my phone – forget it.

I decided to try Broadway Pink Real Life French Nail Kit (Real Short Length), £7.95 from Boots. They come with adhesive, nail file and cuticle stick, and have a clean break tab for easy application. I found them really easy to apply and they have lasted longer than any other nails I have tried (6 days and counting!). Having had a positive experience with these particular nails, I would strongly recommend them either for a special occasion or just everyday wear.

I’m really looking forward to trying some of the other nail designs I have seen such as chrome, Aztec, matte and animal prints. It’s much easier than painting my nails in those designs!

I hope you enjoy using false nails as much as I have :) xo
