How to Get a Flawless Face in Five Minutes

Quick Makeup Routine
When it comes to getting your makeup on and yourself out the door in as little time as possible, the steps in your routine are key. With the right tools and a little bit of know-how, a five minute flawless face can be less fairy tale, and more your reality.

First, know the look you are going for, and focus on the key features of your face that you want to play up. For example, if you are all about the eyes, a quick swipe of colored liner adds both color and drama with minimal effort. Eyes done, you have the ability to go low key on the rest of the face. The same applies to a dramatic lip, which brings all the focus to your pout, and allows you to go easy on the rest of your features.

For quick-fix makeup applications, multi-taskers rule. We’ve already discussed some wonderful double duty beauty products, but to recap: it’s best to stock your makeup bag with multipurpose creams and tints, which serve more than one area at a time with soft, flattering hues.

In a time crunch? Here are some time-saving tips to get you done with your routine even faster:

When applying tinted moisturizer or foundation, there is no need to use a fancy brush. Simply squeeze some out into a clean palm, and apply to your face like you would a moisturizer. In less than a minute, a flawless face is yours.

If you are looking for a quick way to open up your eyes, all you need is a concealer pencil. Not only will it hide blemishes and imperfections, dark circles, you name it, but in a pinch it can also be used as an eye primer and under the brow highlighter.

Can’t find your cream blush anywhere? A dab of lipstick blended into the cheeks will do the trick!

Have even less than five minutes to apply your face? When in doubt, bronzer, mascara, and lip gloss make up the perfect quick and easy face makeup application trifecta. Those three products in hand, you can take your face from plain to glam in as little as three minutes, easy!

Armed with these tips and tricks, makeup application can indeed be both speedy and easy.

@makeupl0vr You are so very welcome! Make sure you go with a cream formula (as opposed to a matte). Much easier to blend! This comment has been removed.

I just use tinted moisturizer, loose powder and mascara when I don't have too much time to get ready. If the boyfriend gives me 5 more min, I'll either add lipstick, bronzer or highlighting powder. This comment has been removed.
