Product Review: Josie Maran Magic Marker Lip &Amp; Cheek Stain Jitterbug
The name really sums up the product because the lip color is very much like a Magic Marker. The pale pink color doesn’t glide too easily on the lips and even less so on the cheeks. Applying it to the lips literally does feel like you are marking on your face much like being a kid. It comes out inky and not with any real sheen or color on the lips at all. Keep in mind I do have a more tan complexion, so maybe the color appears better on fairer skin.
When trying to apply to cheeks, again it just feels like you’re streaking the product on. It does blend into the skin for a subtle finish but you have to apply quite a bit to get any color of all. I was hoping the product would be more convenient when I needed some extra color on-the-go, but as far as Magic Markers this color did not seem permanent.
Also, I have had this product in the bottom of my purse for awhile and it seems like it’s starting to dry out. It has a double lid, so it doesn’t seem like it should, but it’s just too reminiscent of my grade school days when I’d forget to put the caps back on my coloring markers.
Not a product favorite at all, but I’m curious if any other Taaz ladies have tried Josie Maran’s Magic Marker Lip & Cheek Stain and have had better luck. Please share in the comments!
