When the ocean surf calls and the sun starts workin' overtime, we crave fruit smoothies in copious amounts (hello peach!). Follow suit by refreshing your look for spring in cool smoothie colors.

Step away from the dark soda colored shadows, spring makeup colors take their inspiration from the smoothie bar next door in sweet, succulent shades of banana, peach, raspberry, blueberry and orange Julius (the makeup equivalent of brightening Vitamin C).

These Jambalicious shades are soft, sheer, and sure to get those pretty peepers noticed form a distance. Wear them as a color wash all over lids, paired with a black pencil liner for beautifully defined lashes.

Applying the color in light layers to achieve the desired effect with ease, or intensify the shade by using a wet shadow brush. Finish with three generous coats of black or navy mascara to set flirty lashes aflutter.

Why don't you try getting an eyeshadow primer? There's a bunch of brands in the market that make them...it makes the eyeshadow color show up really, really well. and it even makes the eyeshadow last forever without creasing. If your eyeshadow color doesn't show up that bright then it's maybe because it's not pigmented enough. This comment has been removed.

I tried using a wet brush to apply the eyeshadow but the color still doesn't show up that well. Is there another way I can make the color show up even more? Help please! This comment has been removed.
