How to Pair Coral and Bronze for a Tanned Look

Coral and Bronze Makeup
Let's face it gals, looking tan in time for summer is no easy task. First you've got to dive into a big vat of liquid faux glow (okay maybe you let a spray tanning pro do the dirty work for you), then you've got to work it...flaunt it...show it off...keep it from coming off on the white couch...and maintain it without streaks or splotches. Getting a tan-friendly wardrobe is only half the battle: the right makeup will put the finishing touch on tanned skin.

When you're tan, the same rules apply for picking out clothes and makeup...for lips and cheeks, choose shimmering peaches, corals and tangerines with gold undertones, which will give your face 24k goddess allure. Also fabulous: yellows, teals and pearly sky blue. Pick a bronzer with slight shimmer if you are young and boast wrinkle-free skin (shimmer tends to play up facial creases). Try a shimmering body lotion to complement shorts and tank tops. Older women should opt for a matte bronzer and matte shades of peach, coral and tangerine that don't have flecks of gold.

Nothing's safer than a virtual tan! Try on a golden summer tan now in our virtual makeup studio. You can also try on a variety of summer hairstyles and sunglasses to complement your summer 2010 makeup look.

Wow...i think this is a pretty hard look to pull off :/. For one, yellow doesn't look great on everybody (neither does orange) lol. but the model look good with it tho! This comment has been removed.

Love the color combinations here! Would never have thought to match neon yellow, green, baby blue, and orange together! This comment has been removed.
