Steal My Style: Warm and Cozy
Adina Zilberman Gets Bundled Up in NYC
While March often brings thoughts of springtime sun, we can’t put away our warm-weather gear just yet. For this edition of Steal My Style, I’d like to discuss some of my go-to pieces for those chilly winter months.
This particular outfit was worn on a day out and about, hopping to and from various beauty events. The purple wrap top is from BCBG (a favorite, clearly), while the distressed skinny jeans from bebe are one of my denim staples. On my feet are the most amazing boots ever: fur-lined, suede, Aquatalia wedge boots. These beauties are not only water resistant and incredibly warm, but also very stylish, with fur trim and a three-inch heel.
The star of this ensemble is clearly the jacket. This Roy by Rachel Roy coat was a steal of a deal, on sale at Macy’s. This jacket is amazing, not only for its fantastic length, oversized collar, and large, detail buttons, but also for the colorful pattern peeking through from the inside when the jacket is worn open. It is the perfect statement piece, without being too over the top.
My makeup and hair are pretty straightforward here. Stark, winter white and raspberry hues make for an unusual and bold smoky eye, with peach cheeks and lips. My hair is flat ironed straight, with my then-too-long bangs clipped back.
What are some of your favorite cold-weather clothing staples?
