Sexy Halloween Makeup Ideas
Sexy, sexier, sexiest makeup ideas for Halloween
For some, Halloween's a time to rock a super scary costume. Others prefer to experiment with widly sexy makeup or a hair color they can't wear everyday. We've rounded up a few makeup tips to get you started on your quest for Halloween glamour.
If nothing else, use Halloween as an excuse to wear a wild lipcolor that's so not you. Halloween specialty stores carry stunning shades of gold or silver, or you can create your own free-spirited color by crushing an old eyeshadow and mixing it with a bit of Vaseline. Try a steely shade of blue or cool cucumber and don't forget ample amounts of lip gloss for a futuristic effect.
Cat-shaped eyes call to mind Cleopatra and once you've mastered the look you can incorporate it into your evening makeup routine any time of year. To create the illusion of extended eyes, draw your eyeliner upward and outward beyond the outer corners of the eye and smudge it slightly with a Q-Tip. For extra drama, apply a few individual falses lashes to the outer corners of your eyes. Prepare to flirt up a storm.
Fake a beauty mark to rival sex goddess Marilyn Monroe by creating an allover canvas with foundation, which will give your faux mole something to adhere to. Draw a beauty mark directly onto the skin using a softened eyeliner pencil in brown or black. To soften, rub it on the back of your hand or heat the tip of the pencil under the blow dryer. Set your new beauty mark with loose translucent powder. A sexy beauty mark can be used to draw attention to your lips or your eyes (ideal placement is above the eyebrow, below one eye like Serena on Bewitched or over the upper lip like Cindy Crawford). –Stephanie Simons
