Happy 2013! It’s time to ring in the New Year with exciting spring trends, but I’ll never forget my favorite products and looks from 2012. Here are my top ten trends from the past year, and some I may even keep for 2013 ;)

NAIL ART
I love how imaginative and fun this trend can be. Cheers to new nail designs every week! My favorite glitter polish right now is Millionaire by Nailtini.

POPS OF NEON
From eye shadow to skinny jeans, this trend was everywhere. I can’t wait for another colorful year! Electric blue eyeliner is definitely a keeper!

DARK BERRY LIPS
What a dramatic transformation with this dark and devious lip shade! I loved how it channeled my inner Disney villain. My favorite shade is Bare Minerals Pretty Amazing in Witty.

TOP KNOT BUN
Whether I was headed to the gym or a posh restaurant, this was my absolute favorite hairstyle of 2012! Second runner-up was a sleek, high ponytail.

BLACK AND GOLD
You can always find me in black and gold - so elegant and chic!

A NATURAL LOOK
Face makeup was all about looking flawless and minimal last year. My favorite products to do this were Bare Minerals Correcting Concealer, Sheer Tint Moisturizer and Ready Foundation.

WHITE EYELINER
It brightens up the eye area with a slightly retro look to it. It’s a great way to disguise dark shadows or a bad night’s rest.

GLOWING SKIN
I finally kept my last New Year’s resolution to take care of myself, and part of that included weekly exfoliation treatments thanks to my Bare Minerals Glow Pads. Not only do these pads slough off dead skin cells, but they also hydrate and prevent future breakouts. They’re my absolute favorite skincare product.

MAXI DRESSES
Soft and super femme! This trend was also tres boho-chic!

MENSWEAR
Shoulder pads, blazers, trousers and combat boots were all great staples to add to our closets last year. Plus, they’re fun to mix with your feminine pieces.
