Color is fun to experiment with—it’s refreshing, fun and brings a little bit of pizazz into otherwise normal and routine days. If you’re feeling bold lately, this is a perfect look to try out! Keep reading on how you can achieve this colorful makeup look for yourself.

Step 1: Prime your skin.

We want to create an even, luminous finish, so prep the skin by using a primer that works for you. If you’re going for a lighter look, simply hydrate your skin with a moisturizer and allow about 10 minutes for the product to fully absorb.

Step 2: Apply foundation or tinted moisturizer.

Using a kabuki brush, buff in a liquid foundation using little bits of product at a time. Using a kabuki brush will create an airbrushed, flawless finish. Follow up by setting the foundation or tinted moisturizer in place with a translucent powder.

Step 3: Define your brows with a pencil.

Using a pencil, fill in any sparse areas of the brows to create uniform, defined arches.
Next, prep your eyelids by using an eyeshadow primer. This will help the color go on more vibrantly and stay on longer.

Step 4: Apply the eyeshadow.

Using an eyeshadow brush, apply a bright yellow in the inner corners of the eye, extending the color upwards and outwards to cover about half the lid. Next, take an orange and contour the crease of the eye and blend upward into the brow bone area. Focus the orange on the outer “V” section of the eye. Lastly, use a pink to blend into the lower lash line from the inner tear ducts to the outer corners.

Step 5: Define the eyes.

Using a soft kohl pencil, define the upper lids and outer two-thirds of the bottom lash line. Finish with a few coats of mascara to add a gorgeous definition to the eyes.

Step 6: Add a blusher and lip color.

For the cheeks, select an apricot blusher and blend into the hollows of the cheeks. Follow by creating a sexy pout by applying a Barbie-pink gloss on the lips, and your look is completed!
