60s Bombshell Makeup

MAC 60s look
Call me crazy, but Halloween is my favorite holiday of ALL TIME. It’s the only time of year that I get to really experiment with makeup and walk outside the house without someone staring at me like I’m some weirdo with way too much makeup on. One of my ideas was inspired from January Jones’ character Emma Frost in the X-Men First Class movie. I was also inspired by Lady Gaga’s crease eyeliner. Together both of these inspirations create a killer 60s bombshell look!

With this look, the key is glamorous eye makeup and eyeliner. If I have the money, I’ll splurge and get my usual MAC fluidline in blacktrack. Otherwise I sometimes save money by getting the Maybeline one. You definitely get what you pay for though. They are similar, but the MAC one is my favorite. OK so first blend in MAC paint in untitled on the entire lid and stop at the crease. Now I’m going to line my upper lid, and I’m going to make the eyeliner thicker and higher starting from the middle of my eye. I’m still using my black gel eyeliner, and I’m going to apply a thin, barely there line in my crease. As this line gets closer to my nose, it should get lighter and blend in. Apply more gel eyeliner to make a winged liner in between my crease line and my eyeliner and also wherever it needs to be darker and mroe defined. Eyebrows should be drawn in using a stencil to complete the eye look. For foundation, it needs to be full. I use Estee Lauder double wear. Then afterwards define cheeks with MAC bronzing powder (it highlights too). When you're done, it should look like the picture from weheartthis.com!

Me too! I love the dramatic eyeliner! Looks like this make me love makeup even more than I already do! This comment has been removed.

Ooo nice...I really like the dramatic crease cut and the overemphasized wings on the top and bottom lash lines! This comment has been removed.
