Going to be a bridesmaid at your BFF's wedding? Try a flower bouquet-inspired makeup palette. These bridesmaid makeup and hairstyle ideas are perfect for a beach or garden wedding. Try on bridesmaid makeup in our virtual makeup studio.

To do flower-inspired bridesmaid makeup, give skin an energy boost with a petal pink blush. Forgo lipstick for sheer violet gloss, which has a gloriously dewy effect like wet flower petals in the morning.A floral headband looks demure and romantic paried with a low bun or low ponytail. Or accessorize loose and wavy hair with a silk flower tucked behind one ear. You can score a faux flower at your local crafts store. Tuck the stem behind one ear or create your own hair accessory by attaching it to a hairpin with craft glue. Daisies are so Drew Barrymore while a pale pink rose (sans the thorns) calls to mind Sleeping Beauty. Just try not to upstage the bride. -Stephanie Simons

Ohhh GREAT IDEA!! I hate how you always have to dish out like close to $10 for a cheap looking hairband at the mall. have to try this DIY version :) This comment has been removed.

I've made a hairband like that myself for superrrr cheap. I just went to the dollar store and bought a bouquet of fake flowers and pulled off the flower from the stems. I get an old unadorned hairband and hot glue the flower to the area where I want it to be. Super easy and super cheap!!! This comment has been removed.
