How to Do Your Hair for Valentine's Day

Valentines Day Hairstyles
Go for bold this Valentine's Day in a bedroom-inspired hairstyle or rock a purposefully messy updo to encourage him to nuzzle the nape of your neck. Face-framing tendrils will give the appearance that you’re not a perfectionist who’s afraid to be touched; a wavy hairstyle has the same allure.

"Valentine's Day is a chance to reinvent yourself into a glamorous seductress with wavy, touchable hair and hints of pink makeup ."

Get sexy Valentine’s Day waves by fashioning damp hair into Princess Leia-inspired waves. Simply part hair into two sections and coil each one around the ears and pin them with bobby pins. Wear them until totally dry (you can cheat with a hairdryer) or sleep on them for wake-up-and-go waves. Using a curling iron is a great way to add curl to the ends and define sections of hair.

To create an undone Valentine’s day updo, warm hair polish in the palms of your hands and finger-rake it through hair to seal the cuticle and impart shine. Get messy volume with a texturizing lotion. Rough-dry hair with hands, keeping the bangs untouched and on the smooth side. Once hair is dry, twist and loop it into loose sections and secure each one with a bobby pin at the scalp and accessorize with pretty petals behind one ear.

Create a side braid for V-Day and by the end of the evening you’ll have beachy waves with minimal effort. Just spritz it with hairspray to lock in the bend and you’ve got a sexy next-day look in seconds. --Stephanie Simons

Loose up do's are so chic and an easy hairstyle when my hair is a little dirty :p This comment has been removed.
