Surprise, surprise! You don't always need to rely solely on a heating tool such as a straightening iron or blow dryer to get frizz-free hair. While these tools are certainly helpful in getting the job done, there are a lot of alternates to get the same silky results.

Step 1: In the Shower
When picking a shampoo and conditioner, pick something that is smoothing (contains silicones), deep conditioning (contains natural oils such as macadamia, Moroccan or argan oil) or strengthening (contains keratin). Also, let your conditioner really sit and sink in (minimum 3 minutes).
Step 2: Prep
Smooth down your hair and apply an anti-frizz serum from the top of your head to the ends. Focus on the areas that you experience the most flyaways such as your bangs. If you are going to use a heat-styling tool, make sure to apply a heat protectant spray or natural oil such as macadamia, Moroccan or argan oil.
If I'm in a hurry, just applying the serum to my damp hair and letting it air-dry will be enough to give me smooth results.
Step 3: Blow Dry
We’re so used to flipping over and blow-drying our hair. However, this actually promotes frizzies. Instead, point your blow-dryer downward on your hair and remain standing up. If you are styling your hair to be straight, then use a round brush. On the other hand, if you are styling curly hair, use a diffuser at the end of your blow-dryer.
Step 4: Treatment
It’s important to treat your hair to a mask every once in a while (optimally once a week). This will seal the cuticle and strengthen your hair, which will in turn help to prevent future damage. Damaged hair tends to be frizzier. Also, keratin treatments can work wonders on unmanageable, frizzy hair. The results can also last for days if not weeks for some keratin treatments!
