Goats Milk Soap

Treat Your Hair and Honour Your Bank Balance

your saviiour in a cake of soap (goats milk soap)
This is something which I stumbled on to earlier this year. I am alergic to almost everything and so I was very interested in trialing goats milk soap because it is 100% natural. I soon fell in love with it and then decided why not have a crack at washing my hair with it. I will never by shampoo again.

The soap lathers up easily and equal to (and probably more so) to any shampoo in that consitency. What you have at the end of the day is beautifully (NATURAL) fragrant hair, which will thank you for your choice of product.

Here in Australia you can grab a cake of goats milk soap in your supermarket aisle at approx $2 - I'm thinking in the US it would be comparable in cost. Either way it beats the hell out of spending $10 or more on a shampoo which - YES - will clean BUT at a price to your hair and quite possibly your skin as well.

If you're a vegan then look for a similar product in say, olive oil.

If you want to use a conditioner afterwards, go for something from eg, The Body Shop (maybe around $10 but that's okay given the saving you've made on replacing shampoo).

I wish you well with this one.

I've never tried goat's milk soap as shampoo before--I've always thought it was only used a soap for washing the body. Thanks for sharing. This comment has been removed.
