Testing Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo, Batiste Dry Shampoo Spray and Osis+ Dust It

Dry Shampoo
In my quest for the most amazing dry shampoo, I have narrowed it down to three. Here are my pro’s and con’s for each! Please comment if you have a preference :)

Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo: I’ve been using this one for a long time since the concept of dry shampoo was first popularized. I love the citrus scent, and it’s travel-friendly in its powder form. My only issue is that it takes a minute to blend, and it’s difficult to apply around the ears or at the nape of my neck. It retails at Sephora for $11 in the small size, and it lasts me for 6 months!

Batiste Dry Shampoo Spray is so quick and easy to use in its spray form! I still have to blend it and comb it throughout my hair, but the spray application is definitely a plus for me! The scent is ok. It reminds me of baby powder. It’s definitely a steal for $8 at Sally Beauty Supply, but because of the quick spray application, I ran out of it pretty quickly. It lasted around 2-3 months.

Osis+ Dust It Mattifying Powder is a Godsend for fine hair! All you need is a tiny sprinkle of it close to the roots, and you have instant volume. Plus, it allowed me to style my hair, and it stayed put. My only concern with this product was that it dried out my hair, and it was difficult to wash out. My shampoo solution was Bumble & Bumble Sunday Shampoo by the way. Also, it is in a powder form, perfect for traveling, especially because it’s so tiny. I am still using it, and it’s been over 6 months!
