The Sweater Vest

The Sweater Vest (typically worn by men) is making a comeback this fall for women! This soft, very versatile piece can be worn anywhere. A good looking sweater vest can make or break your outfit.
For early fall, pair a brown or solid color sweater vest ( the ones that are open like a sweater) with a t-shirt/ tank top and shorts/jeans. Since it is still warm, the sweater vest should be made of a light weight wool/other material. I love the Rogan Hess Sweater Vest (as main picture shows).
As fall progresses, opt for the closed pull over sweater vests. Wearing a cute shirt under a checkered sweater vest gives off that carefree vibe and confidence!
Some Tips:
Wearing heels with your vest will elongate your body.
A tight fitted simple shirt under a looser vest looks best.
Make the vest and shirt colors complimentary of each other.
If your sweater vest looks warm, always pair it with long sleeve shirts. If the vest is cooler, a t shirt looks great!
