Will We See These Spring Runway Looks in Real Life?

Michael Kors Spring 2012
Spring 2012 fashion week has come and gone, and it’s almost as if I’m looking into a crystal ball and seeing what is to come. I love the drama that stems from the runways, and believe me, there was drama! From Prada’s out-of-this world, avant garde heels to Fendi’s metallic eyebrows, there was enough to keep me online for days. Ok I took breaks, but I am still reeling with excitement! While I can’t wait to replicate these dramatic looks at home, I’m also left to wonder how the rest of the world will interpret it into mainstream. Don’t get me wrong! I totally heart Moschino Cheap & Chic’s girl with full-on bright mint eyeshadow, but I may tone it down a bit for a work setting (maybe just the inner corners or bottom liner). So I made a list of the most spectacular beauty looks that I am dying to dupe! I’d love to hear what looks everyone else is obsessed with!

Gucci and Rodarte (also layered with metallic blue) - Full black eye shadow around the full eye

Michael Kors – Braids and strong coral blush (my all-time favorite braid hairstyle is from Oscar de la Renta Spring/Summer 2010)

DVF and Narciso Rodriguez (also colored models’ roots bright multicolored) – Loose 60s-inspired updos

Oscar de la Renta – Tight curls at the roots with casual afro ends

Prada – Hair was polished and smoothed back, left with loose waves, simple black bobby pin pulled back one side of the model’s hair

Thakoon – Loose, braided updos with a plaster of bright pinks and blues

Ralph Lauren – Channeled the great gatsby

Versace – Long, voluminous hair, slightly tousled and wavy

Thanks to Vogue and for images :)

It's barely Winter and we're already thinking ahead to Spring 2012! It's never too early for fashion (: This comment has been removed.
Wow that black eyeshadow is really cool! Is that how you prevent eyeshadow from falling under your eyes? Put a kleenex under your eye! This comment has been removed.
I love the collage of images and how the hairstyles look. Thanks for sharing with us. This comment has been removed.
