They don’t call them the “winter blahs” for nothing. Months of gloomy, wet skies make us long for warm breezes, chirping birds, bunches of fresh-picked wildflowers and pretty spring makeup colors. Until March finally rolls around, roll up your sleeves and start playing with the season's violet eye shadows (the look is smudged, not smoked), along with beige shades for lips (the look is moist, not lacquered). For spring, matte skin is in, but you’ll want to pair yours with “erased” lips (a natural or sandy beige tone) and sultry eyes to create a daring combo. Lilac on the lids and a pearly sheen at the temples gives the face a rosy glow and an air of innocence.
