It’s barely begun to feel like fall and already the fashion world is thinking about what’s to come for next season. As runway styles start trickling down to department stores, the fashion designers are already at least two seasons ahead. Marchesa, Michael Kors, and Whitney Eve are all designers to top my list because they never disappoint to express their specific style, but in different ways year after year.

Marchesa! Marchesa is my ultimate, favorite designer because they are women who design purely for women. They don’t try to add sexiness where it doesn’t apply. They don’t try too hard to be on the cutting edge. Their designs are beautiful and timeless just as fashion should be. In true Marchesa fashion, they chose deep rich royal blue, crimson and canary yellow to send down the runway with beautiful lining, elegant hemlines and detailed embellishments. I can't say enough about Marchesa. I love Marchesa.

Michael Kors plays with drop waists and thick stripes for his Spring/Summer collection. He sticks mainly to primary colors and strong, clean lines. His designs are versatile, classy and often times are more affordable than other designers. He masters a simplicity for his designs that allows creative freedom for the person who wears them. His collection is something that I would love to have in my closet as a wardrobe for work, for an important interview, for a special date.

Whitney Eve is the collection from former reality star Whitney Port. I loved her on The Hills and have followed her fashion career ever since. Sometimes her designs are a bit too eccentric for my personal taste, but she has such a confident style which I admire and she often can wear things that I never could. For her collection, she chose striking colors -an icy aquamarine + classic white booties - and combinations including geometric prints and light layering. She mixes her West Coast upbringing with East Coast edge for a fresh, youthful vibe.

This doesn't even begin to cover the amount of photos to flip through from NYFW. I love seeing how designers put looks together, play with color, fabrics and trends and create amazing, new collections year after year. Which looks have you loved?
