Put the Spunk Back Into Your Sneakers

You don’t have to settle for sneakers only at the gym. If you are sightseeing or marathon shopping or just out for a stroll, then comfortable shoes are more appealing than heels or shoes that will strain your arches. But this doesn’t mean you have to get your gym clothes on, there are sports shoes you can wear to create a cute, casual and comfy look.

Colorful kicks. Go for color when choosing sneakers. Puma and Adidas are two of many stores that have bright colors like aqua, neon yellow, and hot pink that can look great paired with leggings or your favorite skinny jeans.

Old school Converse. My Chuck Taylors are my favorite pair of sneakers. But to wear all day, you have to make sure yours are well worn in because they don’t provide as much arch support. But they definitely can come in handy during the colder months to replace one of my other favorite pair of shoes: flip flops. You can even pair them with tights and dress for a tomboy look with a feminine spin.

Slim fit shoes. Certain brands have slimmer fit tennis shoes that creates a sleek line that aren’t the same as the heavier shoes we are used to wearing at the gym. Picking a neutral color paired with the same color or shade of pants can create a longer illusion since tennis shoes don’t elongate my legs as heels do.

Sneakers can have their own sass and style, too. You just have to know how to work them!
