Bright, popsicle-stained lips are all the rage right now and begging to be kissed. Swap your tamest neutral lipsticks and barely-there glosses for statement-making colors for spring 2010. That's right, hotties, a fiery mood prevails this season and a bevy of strikingly bold pimeto reds will make you look muy caliente. They also complement a light self-tan, which is a must for spring.

Straight off the catwalk, orange-y red ("pimento") is the eye-brightening, skin-perking shade of the moment...the makeup equivalent of a shot of Vitamin C. Keep your lips punch bright and finish the look with a clear gloss, along with pared down blush and eye makeup. The same goes for nails: wear a matte pimento nail polish and seal it with a clear gloss coat. For maximum impact, don a minimalist hairstyle that's slick and basic so that it doesn't compete with bright spring makeup.
