I love a good pair of winter boots just as much as the next gal, but I can’t hold back my excitement to wear flip flops and open-toed shoes again. The weather here has been off and on but next week is supposed to be gorgeous and I know that sooner rather than later, the warm sunshine will be here to stay. I even got a pedicure last week to prepare with a fun shade called Hot Lava Love.

With a new season comes the need for new shoes and some of my favorites this year are wedges. Cork wedges, wooden wedges, tall and even taller, I want them all. Wedges look cute with a cropped pair of pants, shorts and of course, springtime dresses.

My suggestion for wedges is to make sure to try them on! You would be surprised that even the ones sky high might still be comfortable. It’s because their thick heel helps make things cushy. However, with the height you still want to make sure you are able to walk in them without being wobbly.

Wedges also make your calves look shapely and your legs longer, but now in the time leading up to the official break of spring, treat yourself to a pedicure and maybe add some self-tanner. The times of tights, knee high socks and boots are almost out the door. The only thing you have to worry about next is which wedges you want to wear!

@courtney2bambi You're very lucky to live there. I live in the North of England and the temperature is about 1 degree celsius! It may be a while before we can break out the lovely lighter clothes here. :-( This comment has been removed.

I think wedges are wonderful to wear. They are cute and fashionable. But there are still cold days, so maybe a bit later in spring/summer would be better. This comment has been removed.

@Phantomime Yes, there has been quite a bit of snow in the US this year. Luckily for me, in Southern California there's not a trace, but might be a little too soon for wedges. I'm just anxious. I love the striped ones too. The bows are cute! :) This comment has been removed.

I agree, wedges are perfectly Summery but at the moment in the UK it's still cold and there is snow forecast for the weekend. I know there id still a lot of snow in the Us too. So as much as I would like to say yes I'll have to say not quite yet. :-( This comment has been removed.
