I recommend alloy.com for those who have a difficult time finding jeans to match their body type. I've used them since I was 16 because alloy sells by inseam and at 6" no store ever carries a length that will fit me. This comment has been removed.

I LOVE a nice, fitted pair of jeans! My favorite is a Lucky Brand pair of jeans in a dark wash. They're easy to dress up or down. This comment has been removed.

I like a little bit of stretch too but sometimes they get TOO stretched out. I need some with more structure, who agrees? :) This comment has been removed.

@Italiana11 YES! My wife is looking for a great pair of jeans (yet another great pair! :)). I'd love to pass on a cool designer she doesn't already own. This comment has been removed.

It seems I'm always shopping for jeans. I typically go for boot cut usually with some stretch because I have a little bit thicker thighs and calves. What are you guys' favorite brands? This comment has been removed.

Oh! Also, you mentioned avoiding pockets/buttons/studs so as not to overwhelm, but for those of us who want to emphasize (or add to the size of) our derrieres, rear pockets with adornments are the way to go. Miss Me jeans, in particular, feel amazing and give a little extra lift and attention to the backside. My friend calls these jeans an instant Brazilian Butt-Lift. :oD This comment has been removed.
