From push-ups to strapless, to demi cup and more, bras come in a number of shapes and sizes. Much to the dismay of the female population, finding the perfect style in a sea of options can be really stressful. Determining the right size adds a complexity to the equation that has many women raising the white flag of defeat. This post is dedicated to all of the ladies who have a hard time finding the perfect fit.
If you haven't been properly sized before, my first recommendation would be to get that done as soon as possible. Only an expert can place you in a bra that is truly right for you. Of course, finding the right size is just half the battle. The true victory is properly getting into the bra. Here are some of my tried-and-true tips and tricks to get the job done.
The front and center part of the bra, in between the cups, should lie flat against the breastbone. This is called tacking, and will help to support the breasts along with the band. If the breasts are spilling out of the cup (over the top, underneath, or at the sides), it means the cup is too small, and you’ll need to go up a size.
The underwire should sit below (not on top of) the breasts, ensuring that they are fully supported.
The band should fit snugly across the back (a bit like a good hug). It should encircle the torso at the same level all the way around. If it rides up in the back it is probably too loose, and you need to go down a band size. The band should anchor the weight of the breasts in order to give the best support possible.
Use these tips to find the fit and support you need to get through the day.

@hzlaugher My pleasure! If there is one thing that you should do for yourself, it's get yourself fitted. And not at Victoria's Secret, but a real bra shop. :)This comment has been removed.
