Purple eye shadow, ranging in tone from lavender to velvety plum, is a must for your evening face. For a clean look, keep the color sheer and applied to your lashline. For evening, apply it to the lid in layers or brush it into the crease for a smoky effect. Get a purple-inspired look without using purple shadow by opting for plum-toned liquid liner and mascara.
Gloss isn't just for lips this season. Eyelids look ravishing and intensely reflective with a touch of texture, namely gloss (or cream). You can create your own glossy consistency by crushing your favorite powder shadow and mixing it with a hint of Vaseline or simply by adding a touch of non-sticky gold lip gloss to the center of your lid. If you rock glossy lids, keep the rest of your face (including lips) matte.
To pull off chocolate brown polish on your nails , keep the color matte and the length short. Dark polishes look chicest on short nails since long talons tend to look scary.
