As Seen on TV: Weird But Real…
As Seen on TV: Weird but Real “fashion” Apparel
Anyway, I've rounded up some of the allegedly “fashionable” culprits that have kept me up late at night with their mesmerizing, convincing TV ads. These products are weird and downright silly, but clearly there's a market for these things, which all seem to provide some sort of solution to common fashion problems.
First up, Pajama Jeans. Are they pajamas? Are they jeans? Well, they're both. The infomercial claims these pants look just as stylish and sexy as fitted jeans, but are made from a material that's just as soft and comfortable as pajama bottoms. Essentially, it's the best of both worlds (watch the video below; you won't regret it).
Then there's the Hip-T, which is a band of stretchy fabric that goes on your hips to create the illusion that you're wearing multiple layered shirts when in reality, you're just wearing your regular shirt and this little piece of fabric. This way, you're stylin' in trendy layers, but you're not all bulky from wearing two shirts. Also, no more accidental flashing of your undergarments or butt cleavage.
But wait, there's more.
Ever heard of Cami Secret? It's a little triangular strip of fabric that attaches to your front bra straps underneath a shirt, covering up excess cleavage. Or you could just wear a shirt that's a bit less revealing.
Finally, there's the Booty Belt, an instant solution for women with a “big booty and small waist.” It's a belt that helps gather the excess fabric on the back of your pants so that your bottoms fit better. Or you could just buy pants that fit in the first place.
So, ladies, have you ever succumbed to buying any of these “As Seen on TV” fashion solutions? If so, please share. If not, do any of them intrigue you? Come on, dish.
