Young Hollywood's Early Spring Style at the People's Choice Awards
Hollywood Beauties Keep Dresses Short and Sweet
Award winner Lea Michele wore a lace-paneled flamingo pink and nude mini dress. She paired the flirty frock with a strappy pair of matching sandals (I would've chosen a neutral color) and kept to capped sleeves and a high neck to offset her short hemline. Pulled back hair, a summery tan and a touch of baby pink on the lips made this Glee star look set for spring.
Julianne Hough also went for short and sassy with a midnight blue dress covered in sparkles. The floaty tulle skirt gave the look a feminine touch while the metallic heels gave it a futuristic one. Unfortunately, the sleeves (slightly longer than sleeveless) are not flattering on anyone, not even for super toned Julianne. Love her low maintenance blonde locks though.
And finally, one of my favorite young stylish stars - Chloe Moretz - showed up in a sunny yellow dress that emulated a mod look, which she paired with plain, black pumps. The color says the star's ready for warmer days and she kept the rest of her look subtle with no accessories and a pulled back, slightly poufed hairstyle. Simplicity was her style note for this look.
Spring has sprung - at least on the red carpet as awards season officially begins. What do you think of the unseasonable looks?
