Long before Pink's song So What earned a Grammy Award nomination, she was sporting the so-what-I'm-a-rock-star look and attitude. Her particular brand of glamour has a tomboyish edge that separates her from the pack. Unlike other famous blonds of her generation, she refuses to blend in and makes very unique choices when it comes to her hairstyle and makeup. For deeply smoky eyes that contrast platinum hair and look every bit rock star-inspired, it's all about black, blacker, blackest liner. This is the ultimate rock and kohl makeup look. The trick is to wear it in three layers, which will give it intensity and maximum staying power. Start with a black pencil eyeliner to rim your top and bottom lashes. This will act as a stencil for the liquid liner, up next. Layering your liner is a great makeup trick to use if you have unsteady hands.

Dramatize pretty peepers with a second coat of liquid eyeliner. For a precision effect, spill a little bit of the liquid onto the back of your hand and use a flathead eyeliner brush to "push" it into the lashline. This will help you achieve an even, steady line. Using that same eyeliner brush, apply black powder eyeshadow on top of the liquid liner and smudge it out with a Q-Tip to soften and smoke up the look just a bit.

Keep the look relatively clean-looking by using lighter shadows to contrast your black liner. Try a shimmery rose color for dramatic effect. As a rule, women generally steer clear of pink eye shadow, but it's flattering when toned down with a touch of gold and, needless to say, it's the ultimate tribute to Pink. A warm, sheer shade  is your best bet.

Use a touch of shimmery white highlighter at the inner corners (near the tear ducts) of each eye. Placing a light color at the inner corners of the eyes will brighten up your face and ensure all that your rocker eye makeup doesn't look too muddy. --Stephanie Simons

I absolutely adore Pink and her kick*ss attitude! :D Her makeup style is amazing as well. I tried using a kohl pencil tho, and it smears in like 3-4 hours :( This comment has been removed.
