In my book, Nicole Ritchie is the reigning queen of “Bohemian Chic”. Kate Hudson probably finishes at a close second. For the most part, Nicole’s style is modern with a chic flair for vintage, which not only is capricious and ladylike but also extremely refined. She has a knack for mixing whimsical colors and prints with blinged-out accessories such as the case in this look. Not to mention, her makeup and hair always remain minimal yet fully complement her skin tone and features, which is why I’m totally in love with her! To steal Nicole’s look, here are my tips!

*Hair: Nicole is rocking the ombre hairstyle. To achieve this look, the ends of your hair must be lighter than your roots. You can do it yourself by treating the bottom portion of your hair with lemon juice, but make sure to deep condition your hair once a week. The lemon tends to be drying. Also, you can buy hair dye at your local drugstore or set up an appointment with a seasoned hair color professional. To get her beach waves, curl with a large 1” curling iron and use a styling hairspray to set.

*Makeup: Minimal face makeup such as a tinted moisturizer or a lightweight foundation, bronzer, coral blush, false eyelashes, gold eye shadow, eyebrow powder and a sheer lip balm.

*Wardrobe: Opt for color, prints and patterns! Start with ONE statement piece such as a tribal-print maxi dress, colorful blazer or fuchsia platform pumps. Next, style according to your one statement piece and finish the look with a blinged-out headband and cocktail ring or chunky gold jewelry!
