Charlize Theron at the Prometheus Premiere

Charlize Theron is one of my favorites when it comes to red carpet looks (as you may have gathered from the number of times I’ve covered her looks!). She always got that element of understated sophistication going on—all without ever trying too hard. Her look at the Prometheus premiere this month definitely proved this point.

At this event, Charlize wore a short, strapless deep blue dress with a low-key shimmery texture. Although simply designed, the dress showcased a deep slip at one leg. With this dress, Charlize wears a pair of black t-strap heels, with criss-cross right above the toes.

Just like her dress and shoes, Charlize keeps her accessories low-key but sophisticated. She wears a pair of diamond studs on her ears, a simple bracelet band on one hand, and a cocktail ring. Her hair is kept down and slightly wavy to add a touch of texture and style to her hair.

My favorite aspect of Charlize’s look is that she manages to keep her makeup looking extremely natural for this red carpet event. Her skin looks impeccably flawless, her cheeks rosy, her brows defined, and her eyes with just the right amount of smokey browns.
