Oz: The Great and Powerful is set to debut this coming Friday, March 8th and the ladies of the movie are hitting the red carpet to promote the film. The women and costumes are what make me most excited to see the movie.

Michelle Williams and Mila Kunis play the witches good and evil and I think the costumes will be visually stunning. The ladies both have their own stylish flair and have recently appeared in looks not typical for them that are a little more daring fashion wise.

Mila goes for a classic black and white color combination with her red carpet gown, but the look is anything but mundane with its ruffled, multi-tiered skirt. The fitted top allows the dress not to swallow her in fabric and a sleek ‘do keeps the rest of the look streamlined and chic. It took me a little bit to really get on board with the dress, but she is truly making a fashion statement and I love that aspect of it.

Michelle is known for a quirkier sense of style, but looks sweet in a peacock blue dress with simple black accessories. She always exudes a ladylike persona and while the dress is beautiful, I would like to see the hem shorter, at least above the knee and possible flared slightly at the end. Her signature hairstyle keeps the focus on her flawless face and pretty smile and she looks radiant and happy for her red carpet look.

What do you think of Mila and Michelle’s red carpet choices? Who are you more anxious to see in Oz: The Great and Powerful?

I really like Mila's dress, it's fun and looks great on her. I don't care for Michelle's, maybe it's the length but it doesn't do much. Can't wait to see the movie! This comment has been removed.
