How to Do Your Makeup Like Olivia Wilde

Olivia Wilde always manages to look absolutely gorgeous, whether she’s working the red carpet or running errands around town. The actress has a bone structure that is the envy of women everywhere, and her natural good looks are enhanced by a skillful makeup application. Want to get the star’s smoldering gaze? Keep reading to learn how.

Start out by applying a serum or moisturizer to the entire face, before dabbing some eye cream underneath the eyes. Apply a liquid foundation to the entire face using your fingertips or a damp sponge. Be sure that you are applying an even layer. Lightly pat concealer underneath the eyes, and on any redness or imperfections, to get an even canvas.

Apply a soft peach crème blush to the apples of your cheeks for a natural glow.

For the eye makeup, apply a grey shimmer shadow to the entire lid and blend upwards toward the crease. Apply the same shimmer shadow along the lower lash line and blend well. Use a black eye pencil to line the eyes as close to the upper lash line as possible, and then line the inside rim of the eye (also known as the waterline). Use a blending brush to blend the liner at the outer corner, creating a slightly smudged look.

Curl the lashes before applying several coats of black mascara to both the top and bottom lashes.

Get Olivia’s pretty pout by applying a nude lip color to the lips, using a thin lip brush.

Finish the look by sweeping a translucent powder over the entire face to ensure your makeup will last.

The blonde (lighter hair color than her typical brunette) makes her look so tan! I love this on her! That's a great steely blue smokey eye on her as well! This comment has been removed.
