When she’s not busy trying to survive the apocalypse, Milla Jovovich is working a seriously stunning look on the red carpet. The star of the Resident Evil franchise certainly knows how to showcase her best features. Keep reading for a step-by-step guide on how to get the actress’ look for yourself.
Prepare a smooth canvas for your makeup by applying a moisturizer and eye cream to the face. Hydrated skin is the key to getting makeup that blends well and lasts longer.
Milla has a mysterious, smoldering stare that most women would love to possess. Luckily, this look can easily be achieved with a clever shadow application. In this case, it’s best to start with the eye makeup, to avoid having to “clean up” the skin if shadow falls on your face.
EYES
Apply a shimmery, silver-blue eye shadow to the eyelids, all the way up to the crease. Blend well, adding color in layers until you achieve the desired effect. Next, line your upper lash line with a black eye pencil. Take the same eye pencil and apply it along the lower lash line as well, and in the inside rim of your eyes. Gently smudge the liner using a Q-Tip to erase any sharp lines. Curl your lashes, and apply a couple of coats of black mascara to both the upper and lower lashes.
FACE
After removing any excess makeup, apply a tinted moisturizer to the face using your fingertips. A tinted moisturizer is ideal for sheer and flawless skin. Lightly dab some concealer underneath the eyes and on any redness or imperfections.
LIPS
Finish this look with an attention-grabbing pout. Apply a raspberry lip stain to your lips, and go over it with a sheer gloss. Sweep a light layer of translucent powder on the nose, chin and forehead. Avoid using too much powder, as this look is all about the sheer and natural.
