Beautiful Face, Fashion Disgrace

The future Mrs. Justin Timberlake showed up at the LA premiere of her new movie "Total Recall" in a ladies-who-lunch, soft pink Christian Dior dress. No one can deny the beauty of Miss Biel, however, she often to tends to dress on the dowdy side. While her couture is simple and sweet, it just doesn’t fit her well. A different bustline would have made all the difference. A deep v-neck would have still pulled off sexy versus the oddly placed bustier cups.

The cap-toed heels she paired with the dress are a great trend right now. And the very pinnacle of perfection of the entire look was that she matched her metallic-dipped shoes to her fantastically fashion forward manicure. Both shoes and nails added edge to the look, but it was the rest of her accessories that weighed down the look. Her elaborate necklace would typically be perfect for a strapless dress, but paired with intricate earrings, a heavy-looking fabric and shoes that did not match make them seem like separate pieces rather than a whole outfit.

Don’t get me wrong, I am a fan of adding accessories, but only if they make sense and in this case, they don’t. All the pieces are fantastic, just not all together. Her gorgeous engagement ring would’ve been accessory enough. If I were to restyle the outfit, I would shorten the dress by a few inches, keep the necklace and the clutch, lose the earrings and choose a different color of shoe.

Fortunately, what she lacked in fashion, she made up in hair and makeup. A sleek, slightly retro look perfectly framed her face and matched the ladylike fashion of the dress. Her cheeks and eyes were kissed with a soft peach color, her lips glossed with a baby pink. Overall though, I would like to see Jessica Biel get back in the fashion game and show off that hot bod of hers rather than covering it up with too much material and an accessory overload.

What do you think of Jessica's red carpet look?

So confused... I'm all for cap toe shoes for fall though. Does she have a stylist?? I can't wait to see this on Fashion Police!
