A Romantic Look for a Knight
Keira Knightley is not a newcomer when it comes to romance. She’s acted in such films as Pride and Prejudice, Love Actually and now she’s co-starring with Steve Carrell in "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World". Therefore, it’s fitting that she chose a softer, boho-chic style for her look at the film’s premiere and LA Film Festival. If you’re loving Keira’s casual elegance, then read further to re-create her look!
Step 1: MAKEUP
I love the simplicity of her makeup! It’s perfect for summer because it’s colorful and fresh! We’re going to start with the eyes. First, apply your eyeshadow primer all over, so that way your eye makeup doesn’t crease or smear in the heat or after a couple of hours. Next, apply a rusty-orange shade all over the lid blending upward and into the crease - try Chopper from Urban Decay’s NAKED2 palette. Now, take that same shadow and line the bottom of your eyes with it. For eyeliner, it’s best to tightline (meaning the inside of your waterline both top and bottom) with a dark brown shade. Finish your eye look by applying mascara, false lash flairs and filling in brows where there are gaps.Moving on to face makeup, apply a tinted moisturizer or just conceal where need be. Set with a highlighting translucent powder such as bareMinerals Illuminating Mineral Veil. For blush, apply a bright peachy-pink shade to the apples of your cheeks - try Nars Powder Blush in Orgasm. Finally, for lips, I’d go with a lip stain with gloss or lip balm over it - try CoverGirl Lip Stain in Nude Kiss.
Step 2: HAIR
