First Lady Michelle Obama Wows in Tracy Reese

First Lady Michelle Obama at Democratic National Convention

In the midst of the Republican National Convention and Democratic National Convention, it’s easy to see there is a clear winner. And that winner is First Lady Michelle Obama. No matter where your vote lies, you can’t deny that Mrs. Obama knows style.

She has shown it time and time again by wearing elegant gowns and sensible dresses. She comfortably dons designer looks, but also makes her outfits easily to duplicate for those on a budget. J. Crew is a favorite label of hers and she doesn’t have to be showy with her looks to have an end result that looks amazing.

Things were no different for Mrs. Obama when giving her much talked about speech at the recent DNC. She appeared in a sleeveless Tracy Reese dress, a favorite designer of hers, showing off her often discussed toned arms. The color blocking of her dress was a mix of a rose pink and a silvery blue with gold threads running throughout. Her closed-toed pumps (J. Crew) perfectly coordinated with the pink bodice of her dress. The flare of the skirt and the length of the dress kept the look from appearing stuffy; she simply shined.

Her hairstyle was chic and simple and her makeup didn’t overpower her skin or her look overall. If the presidential race was based on fashion wins, Michelle Obama would win by a landslide.
