Elizabeth Banks is having quite the year so far. First, co-starring as the craziest dressed character in one of the year's most hyped about movies, "The Hunger Games," and now returning to the big screen in the comedy "What to Expect When You're Expecting."

Banks showed up at the Hollywood premiere for the movie dressed in a dramatic burgundy dress from Alexander McQueen's Pre-Fall 2012 collection. The silhouette of the dress had a 50's style flair with a subtly flared, tea length skirt and an hourglass bodice. The intricate design of the dress gave it a modern twist. She paired the dress with gorgeous, vintage-y t-strap pumps in a wine-colored hue perfectly complementing the dress.

Her makeup, like usual, was soft, romantic and simple. Peach cheeks and soft lips didn't overpower or outshine her dress. She wore her hair swept back adorned with gold pins to match her showstopping gold ring. The intricate gold ring was a unicorn design, which covered all knuckles on one hand. She kept her other accessories minimal and let the ring be the star of the outfit. She then carried a simple matching clutch that also played off her gold accessories.

Elizabeth Banks has definitely improved over the years with her styling choices. She's not afraid to wear new trends and is always wearing designs straight from the runway and making them her own. Her makeup is always flawless and her red carpet choices have been spot on overall.

Whoa! That's a crazy ring! Did she get that from the set of The Hunger Games? JK! Not sure if I love this outfit. It looks like fall/winter dress. I love it, just not this season. This comment has been removed.
