No one blurs the lines between feminine and fierce, edgy and elegant, better than Christina Milian. At a recent red-carpet event, the singer/actress gave off a pretty-with-an-edge vibe with her rocker-inspired look. Read on for details on how you can channel Christina and get the look for yourself.

Nothing screams rock rebel like a dark smoky eye. Christina’s bold peepers were achieved with a deep-navy shadow and lots of lashes. To get the look, first prep the lids with your eye primer of choice. Next, pat dark-navy eye shadow onto the lid, starting at your lash line and going no higher than your crease. Be sure to blend well, so as not to leave any harsh lines. Apply black liquid liner as close to the lash line as possible, before swiping on a coat of mascara. For an exaggerated fringe like Christina's, choose a pair of voluminous false lashes, and apply them carefully to the upper lash line.

Christina got her dewy skin with a liquid foundation, and you can too. Begin by applying a primer to the face, to ensure that your foundation will last for hours. The key to acquiring this look is selecting the right foundation. Choose a formula labeled “natural” or “luminescent,” to get a flawless, natural glow. Finish with a cream blush in a nice bronze or rose shade, blending the product into the apples of your cheeks. A nude lipstick and gloss completes the look.

As gorgeous as her face is, Christina's hair seems to take center stage here. To get this larger-than-life style you need lots of hair. For those who aren't blessed with long locks, fake it with hair extensions that mimic your own natural color. You’ll want to put the extensions in before any styling begins. Part hair deeply on the right side and proceed to curl it, using a large-barreled curling iron. Set hair with pins to help curls maintain their bounce. Once your entire head of hair is curled, shake the ringlets out and then strategically pin hair back on the right side, creating an edgy, asymmetrical look. Apply hairspray for hold and shine spray for luster, then strut your stuff in true rocker fashion.

What do you think of Christina’s bold look? Will you be trying it out soon?
